Waiting in vain 2010/10/21

Just this morning, someone close to me once again reminded me that patience is a virtue and that good things come to those who wait. She probably had enough of my stubbornness and insistence on immediacy.
Admittedly, I am an impatient person. Waiting is something I am not good at. My patience wears off easily to situations beyond my control. Not to mention, that I am an OC. I like things in order to the point of extreme compulsive behavior. How’s that?
And so I ask, if good things come to those who wait, do bad things come to those who can’t wait?
